We are living in an era of significant church reformation. The Charismatic Revival saw renewal of spiritual gifts in many mainline denominations. Since then there has been a growing increase in power evangelism. Numerous new independent charismatic churches and fellowships have emerged. Many traditional churches are moving from program-based to cell-based structures for fellowship and ministry. New prophetic dimensions of spiritual worship and intimacy with God are being experienced. There is new emphasis and practice of intercessory prayer.

However, there has been little movement from institutional organization of churches back to the Biblical pattern where Jesus is functional head of each church. Implicit in such a move is restoration of apostolic foundations for churches. I believe this is what lies just ahead in church reformation. It is the theme of this small book.
